Family owned, Ford authorised, and part of Otorohanga since 1982.

Otorohanga Automotive is owned and run by Bronwyn and Mike Tubman. It has been a fixture on Turongo Street since 1982, and as an Authorised Ford Parts and Service Agent it has the backing of a big brand with the feel of a local shop. When you ring up or drop in, you are dealing with the owners and a team of six techs who live in this town.
Bronwyn Tubman chairs the Otorohanga Community Board, so the people who run the workshop are also helping run the town. The shop has been here through plenty of local history, including the famous week in 1986 when Otorohanga renamed itself Harrodsville to stand up for small New Zealand businesses, a story the Otorohanga Museum still celebrates today.
Bring your vehicle to a workshop that is part of the community it serves, not a chain passing through.
For one week in 1986 the whole town became Harrodsville. It is still one of the best small town stories in the country, and our shop has been here for all of it.
Drop in to 51 to 53 Turongo Street or give the workshop a call. We are easy to find.
